| Bio: | It's hard to sum up 119 years of life in this space. The important information: I was born the son of a human father and demon mother, named Cole by the former and Belthazor by the latter. After my mother murdered my father, I was raised in the underworld to serve the former Source of All Evil, dealing with whomever he deemed needed killing -- innocents, witches, renegade demons, whatever. Three years ago I was sent to kill the Original Charmed Ones, but fell in love with Phoebe Halliwell instead. I turned my back on my former life to be with her. Eventually my demonic side was vanquished, leaving me a normal human. I could have lived out my life with Phoebe that way, but not long after I was tricked into accepting the powers of the Source of All Evil. I couldn't resist his control -- I became all that I hated. The Reconstituted Charmed Ones were forced to vanquish me, but my soul ended up in the demonic wastelands and clung to life. I learned to absorb the Wicked Wasteland Mojo and gained the power to come back from hell. I tried to reunite with Phoebe, but her fear got the better of her and she rejected me. I didn't know it then, but the Source was still inside me. After my and Phoebe's child was destroyed, it had no place to go but back into me, and without Phoebe as my anchor, it drove me mad. I tried to destroy myself, and when that failed, I lost my will to resist and started to embrace the evil inside me. I tricked the Charmed Ones into thinking they'd vanquished me again and moved to LA. I accepted a job at Wolfram and Hart as their new Head of Special projects, a move I'd later regret. Then Phoebe tracked me down. She overcame her fear and reached out to me. With her and her sister's help, I was able to bind the Source within me. The Source is eternal and cannot truly be vanquished, but at least it was contained. And it remained contained until Morrigan returned to my life. We'd been involved for decades -- before I was sent after the Charmed Ones, before Raynor ripped her away from me. She had a surprise for me -- my ten year old son, whose existence she had kept secret for years for fear that Raynor would kill him if he knew Balor was not his own son. Unfortunately, her purpose was not merely to introduce me to my son now that the danger from Raynor was past. She was being forced by the Seer, who had escaped from the very same dimension I created to fake my death, to trick me into freeing the Source again. She very nearly would've succeeded if it was not once again for the Charmed Ones. Not long ago I lost Phoebe. The Avatars came to punish me for not using the powers they had given me to work toward their aims, whatever they may be. Phoebe saved me from them, but at the cost of her own life. The loss of her presence, the gentle soul that had woken my humanity and showed me love, drove me insane. I killed the members of the Tribunal for taking her powers away from her, blaming them in part for her death. I would've unleashed the Source on the world without a care if it wasn't for Morrigan. She -- and the child she was carrying, my child -- was the only thing that could bring me back from the brink. I miss Phoebe. I love her and always will, but I have managed to heal and find happiness with Morrigan, building with her the family Phoebe and I could never have. It's strange to find peace after all this time. The Charmedverse extension of the Sockverse diverges from show canon as of mid-Season Five of Charmed, significantly more so as of the beginning of Season Seven. Currently in this Charmedverse Phoebe is dead, but Prue has been restored to life. While events from the currently airing episodes of the show may be adapted for this game, these journals do not strictly follow the events they portray. | |
